Well-groomed hands and feet speak for themselves. Anyone who has ever suffered from nail fungus knows how debilitating this disease can be. It manifests itself in a whitish to yellow-brown discoloration of the nail, often it also thickens or deforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Treatment of nail fungus<\/a> can be treated with medication using antimyotics or purely external creams and ointments. Laser treatment has also proven to be very effective, time-saving and virtually pain-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laser therapy offers the advantage over other methods that no chemical agents are used. This can be an advantage for patients with advanced nail fungus who are unable or unwilling to take tablets. The time-consuming application of ointments and creams is also no longer necessary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We apply laser therapy four times at approximately weekly intervals. In case of heavy infestation, it needs preparation of the affected nails with cream and bandage during the last two nights before the treatment appointment. The treatment is safe, efficient and almost painless - sometimes a slight sensation of heat is felt. The duration of the treatment is 10 to 30 minutes. Supplementary supportive local therapy is performed in the practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After completion of the treatment, the nail fungus is killed. The discolored parts of the nail are shed as nail growth progresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
