Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has become an indispensable part of aesthetic medicine. PRP can be used successfully both as a combination therapy and as a monotherapy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Won PRP<\/a> from the patient's own blood. From this, plasma is extracted by centrifugation, which contains many of the body's own growth factors. This plasma can stimulate the regeneration of skin and hair by injection and is thus used as a means of general skin rejuvenation<\/a> or at Hair loss<\/a> for use. This therapy is known as Personal Cell Therapy (PCT).<\/p>\n\n\n

Fractional laser methods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fractional laser procedures is a collective term for laser treatments in which parts of the skin are selectively ablated on the area to be treated. These ablations can be very superficial, but also penetrate deep into the skin as channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like PRP treatment, fractional laser treatments can be used on the one hand as monotherapy to renew the skin and improve its appearance. On the other hand, the channels created by the fractional lasers can be used to introduce active substances into the skin. These combination therapies are referred to as laser-supported drug delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n

Laser-supported Drug Delivery<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Laser-supported drug delivery uses the channels created by ablative laser devices to deliver active drug substances into the skin to cross the skin barrier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best-known example of this is the laser-assisted photodynamic therapy<\/a>, in which methylaminolevulinate is applied to the fractionated - usually with a CO2 laser<\/a> - opened skin is applied. But this method is also used for other active ingredients: there are concepts with vitamin A acid, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, resveratrol, etc.. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRP can also be delivered to the skin via fractional laser treatments instead of by injection (mesotherapy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRP & Fractionated Laser Treatments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The positive effects of PRP in combination with the fractional laser are therefore quite logical: the channels in the skin enable the PRP to achieve its desired effects, which include faster healing of the skin damaged by the laser. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because these effects complement each other so wonderfully, this treatment is recommended as a standard aesthetic procedure. There is no additional time involved, as the blood can be drawn and prepared during the pre-anesthetic phase and applied within a few minutes after fractional laser therapy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
