CO2-fractionated laser resurfacing in combination with PRP
Fractional skin rejuvenation using CO2 lasers has gained increasing interest since its introduction. It is used for skin resurfacing, treatment of wrinkles and acne scars, and treatment of hyperpigmentation. For best results, the treatment can be combined with platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP). PRP has been used in medicine for more than 20 years. It is used in both clinical and cosmetic dermatology and accelerates the process of tissue healing by releasing growth factors inside platelet granules.
The consequences of ageing, such as loss of elasticity and Wrinkles, unwanted texture damage as well as Acne scars, Accident or surgical scars can use the fractional CO2 laser efficiently improved. The laser pulses are converted into heat and act on the skin in two different ways: On the one hand, the laser light penetrates the deepest layers of the skin and stimulates skin renewal in depth. On the other hand, the top layer of skin is removed and the skin is thus "smoothed". By inducing the natural wound healing process, healthy new collagen is formed after the treatment. This means that your skin will be completely renewed.
PRP is a component of blood that contains high concentrations of growth factors that enhance the effect of the CO2 laser and reduce downtime. When combining PRP with the CO2 laser, a small amount of blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge, concentrating your own growth factors by isolating the PRP component and separating it from the rest of the blood. Immediately after the laser treatment, we inject the PRP into the desired areas and also apply it locally so that it enters the skin through the micro-channels created by the laser, promoting healing and immediate rejuvenation. PRP can be added to any fractional CO2 treatment to improve results, reduce downtime and promote new collagen production.
The treatment lasts about 60 minutes and can be repeated every 1-2 years for a well-groomed aging. Unfortunately, in the first 48 hours the treated skin must not be covered with make-up. Strictly adhere to the use of the aftercare products we give, especially in the first 4 - 6 weeks! The skin must be protected from the sun daily with a high SPF sunscreen and direct sun exposure must be avoided.
