Structural unevenness "smoothing" with eMatrix
Irregularities in the appearance of the skin can have different causes. Some are genetic or age-related, others are the result of skin diseases or injuries. The most common structural irregularities are listed below.
Small wrinkles are the first visible signs of skin aging, which appear from the age of 25. They result from the natural reduction of the skin's ability to regenerate and the falling hormone levels, which can lead to a decrease in the formation of the body's own hyaluron and collagen.
Scars can occur after injuries to the deeper layers of the skin. Scar tissue remains here, which consists of rigid collagen fibers and is also visually different from the surrounding skin. This represents a protective mechanism to prevent potential infections.
Acne scars result from the fact that both the epidermis and deeper skin layers such as the dermis and the subcutis are injured. The skin can regenerate, but the new skin has limited functionality and may look different than before.
Stretch marks occur when the connective tissue is stretched too much and the elastic fibers (collagen and elastin) of the subcutis tear. The causes of such overstretching can be weight gain, pregnancy and strong muscle growth. They also often occur during puberty in the growth phase.
Coarse pores are the dilated coarse excretory ducts of the sebaceous glands. Large-pored skin is not a disease, but can be perceived as aesthetically disturbing. Genetics and sun exposure can be influencing factors on the dilated openings of the sebaceous glands.
We treat the mentioned structural irregularities in our practices with the eMatrix. eMatrix works subliminally by means of bi-polar radiofrequency, i.e. with electricity, not with laser. Sublative means that the radiofrequency energy is delivered to the skin in a fractionated pattern over a certain number of small tips, predominantly triggering a deep effect. The production of collagen and healthy skin cells is stimulated, with healthy skin around the treatment areas accelerating the healing process. The result is younger, more beautiful, more even and healthier skin.
One treatment takes about 20-60 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated. The application of bipolar radiofrequency is relatively painless, but in most cases we recommend a light anesthetic with a special cream. After the treatment we apply a cooling green tea mask or thermal water. 24-72 hours after the treatment, small scabs (Ø 1mm) are formed, which you should not scratch. After 6 days the skin starts to peel and you can accelerate the loosening of the fine chests, which feel like sand on the skin, with a gentle peeling. We recommend 3-6 sessions at intervals of 4 weeks depending on the skin condition. In the course of therapy we will control the response of all sessions with photos and discuss the further procedure with you.
