Dr. Rümmelein AG - House of Skin & Laser Medicine is an advanced training center C recognized by the Swiss Institute for Continuing Medical Education and Training. This means that there are always several young doctors working in our company who have already worked as a doctor for several years, but do not yet have a specialist title as a dermatologist. For this reason, there is always a specialist on the premises to provide advice and support to the young doctors.
Precisely, this certification, obtained in 2018, means that assistant physicians can complete two of the obligatory five years of further training in our clinic. These young, committed colleagues force us "old hands" to always keep our finger on the pulse in order to do justice to the many issues.
There is always at least one dermatology specialist in-house who manages the respective site and is available for possible questions and support of the assistants. Usually, three to four doctors work in the practice at the same time. We support each other and take over your treatment depending on the level of experience and specialization and assist each other if necessary. Training and continuing education is an essential concern for us, which we take on with pleasure, and we thank our patients for the trust they also place in our younger colleagues.
The practice also continues to be an internationally recognized training center for specialists wishing to learn laser medicine, recognized by the Laser Commission FMCH. We are excellently equipped with more than 30 laser devices and organize about 30 workshops and practical courses per year, thus making a significant contribution to laser education in Switzerland. All our physicians regularly publish technical articles and give lectures at international congresses.
We are particularly qualified as a reference center for laser side effects. From all over Switzerland and abroad, we receive daily questions about prevention and treatment for problems that have occurred.
