Do you suffer from vaginal dryness? Do you often have vaginal infections? Do you leak urine when sneezing or coughing? Although almost half of women will struggle with vaginal problems in their lifetime, many sufferers are too ashamed to seek medical advice.

It is possible that a Vaginal laser treatment help. The 360° laser beams gently repair and regenerate the mucous membrane, which can reduce dryness and improve moisture. Healthy tissue can be rebuilt.

While in southern countries such as Italy the vaginal laser has an everyday status, German-speaking countries are lagging behind this trend. In many large cities, there is often no place to go if you want to undergo vaginal laser treatment, even though the number of women affected is huge. It is estimated that nearly half of all women experience vaginal problems. These problems include dryness, sagging, incontinence, pigmentation changes, pain or recurrent inflammation or infection. The lack of availability could also be due to the fact that those affected are too ashamed to seek professional help, or because the laser treatment method is too unknown in society.

Why is the number of women with vaginal problems so high? The best known reason for vaginal problems is the decreasing estrogen level, which falls with age. This can cause the vaginal mucosa and genital tissue to become thinner, drier and more sensitive. The vagina loses its protective layer due to reduced moisture and the natural tone and elasticity are lost. Itching, burning, dryness, pain and impaired sex life can be the consequences. Other factors favoring vaginal discomfort include pill use, childbirth and birth injuries, hormone deficiency during breastfeeding, obesity and many others.

Thermal heating of the laser provides regeneration of vaginal flora.

The vaginal laser is a rod-shaped laser which is inserted into the vagina. This emits laser beams in a 360° radius. The targeted thermal heating of the vaginal tissue stimulates the growth and regeneration of collagen fibers and fine blood vessels. This regenerates the mucous membrane and leads to tightening of the vaginal walls. Furthermore, the moisture improves and the vaginal flora is stabilized, as a result of which infections rarely occur. We have been using the same effects for many years in the anti-aging treatment of the face with the laser. Vaginal laser technology is safe, efficient and painless.

Treatment in the intimate area is a matter of trust. Therefore, we discuss your specific complaints in detail during a personal consultation. The laser treatment should be preceded by an examination by a gynecologist including a pap smear. The PAP smear should not be more than 3 months old. The time of treatment should be outside the middle of the cycle.

The treatment itself only takes a few minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis. Afterwards, if desired and at no additional cost, the labia minora and labia majora can be treated with a fractional laser treated.

After the laser treatment you should refrain from sexual intercourse for 2-3 days. If you have a tendency to genital herpes, we recommend herpes prophylaxis with tablets. After the procedure, slight swelling and redness may occur in the vaginal area, which usually disappears after 1-2 days. External burning, burning during urination, itching and discharge are possible for 1-3 days.

We recommend 1-4 treatments at an interval of at least 4 weeks, whereby positive results can often be achieved after the first treatment. Subsequently, an annual refresher treatment is advisable.
