35 years in medicine, working independently as a dermatologist for 20 years and fascinated by laser medicine and its possibilities in the treatment of aesthetic and medical dermatological problems for almost as long.
Born in Hamburg, she completed her studies and residency at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf. Already during an internship abroad at Standford University and at the Mayo Clinic, her passion for dermatology was consolidated. From 1994 to 2008, successful years followed in the Frankfurt area with her own practice in Kronberg im Taunus.
After moving to Switzerland, Dr. Rümmelein worked part-time at the University Hospital in Zurich, managing the laser and aesthetic consultation hours from 2011 to 2014. Alongside this, she had her own practice at the SeeSpital in Kilchberg since 2008, and finally became CEO and medical director of the House of Skin & Laser Medicine with locations in Kilchberg and Zurich-Enge in 2016. She is also President of the Swiss Laser Society SGML and heads the Smartaging Swiss Academy AG, which offers a training program for physicians recognized by the Laser Commission FMCH.
