Cryolipolysis

During cryolipolysis, fat cells are destroyed by cold. The treatment selectively freezes the fat cells without damaging the remaining tissue and is particularly suitable for stubborn, localized fat deposits. A good device guarantees little pain. Quality pays off.

The Cryolipolysis is based on the fact that fat cells are significantly more sensitive to cold than water-containing cells. Almost the entire cell body of such cells is filled by large fat droplets. Cooling to below 4 degrees causes crystallization of the fat droplets with consecutive damage to the cell membranes and thus cell death of the fat cells.

After treatment, inflammatory cells break down the affected Fat cells gradually, which can take several months. Lipids are slowly released from fat cells and transported away by the lymphatic system for processing. Since this degradation process of lipids is gradual, it does not result in any dangerous change in blood lipids and liver function. The degradation process can be actively supported with shock wave therapy.

For the treatment we use the Clatuu®. It does not require anesthesia and does not involve any downtime. It is especially suitable for patients who have gained a lot of weight in a short period of time or suffer from stubborn localized fat deposits. A good general condition is a prerequisite. A volume reduction of up to 2 cm is possible per treatment.

The treatment area is marked and covered with a patented gel cloth to protect the skin during the cooling process. Depending on the area of application (abdomen, flank, hips, inner thighs, upper arms, fat deposits on the back), different applicators are used. The treatment area is drawn in by the applicator (vacuum) and cooled in a controlled manner for 40 to 60 minutes. Immediately afterwards, the area is massaged vigorously for five to eight minutes, which is very important for the success of the treatment and reduces the swelling pain.

The optimal result with the Clatuu® is achieved after 90 days. 2-3 treatments are recommended at intervals of 2-3 months. During this time, physical activity and a daily fluid intake of 2-3 liters favor the breakdown of the destroyed fat cells. A body analysis with the InBody scale can provide additional important information. At the Enge location, we offer this examination to assess your body composition. It provides important information as to whether additional dietary consultations are necessary.
