Cupping
Cupping combines ancient healing knowledge with modern aesthetic standards. Cupping was already being used in Chinese medicine around 3,000 years ago to detoxify the body. Today, we use this technique to specifically activate blood circulation, lymph flow, and tissue renewal.

Cupping Mode of action
The negative pressure generated stimulates local microcirculation of blood and lymph, which activates metabolism and supports the removal of metabolic waste products. This activation can help the body burn fat more efficiently. At the same time, cupping promotes the formation of new collagen and elastin. This improves skin elasticity and scars, tightens the skin, and reduces cellulite. Cupping has also proven effective for sports injuries or tension: hardened areas in the subcutaneous and muscle tissue are effectively loosened. This allows tissue layers to be reached that are difficult to access with massage techniques alone.
Cupping can be used on the face with AWT . This enables two gentle, non-invasive treatments for skin tightening and improving skin quality.
Cupping treatment options
-
Anti-cellulite treatment: Cupping stimulates local microcirculation of blood and lymph, activates metabolism, and supports the breakdown of stored fluid. This can tighten the skin and reduce cellulite.
-
Bodyshaping: By stimulating metabolic processes and promoting the formation of new collagen and elastin, cupping can help shape and tone the body.
- Scar treatment: Cupping can help with scars by stimulating blood circulation and lymph flow in the scar tissue, thereby loosening adhesions and promoting tissue healing.
-
Support for weight loss: Improved blood circulation and lymphatic drainage can help the body burn fat more efficiently and remove metabolic waste products more quickly.
-
Treatment of sports injuries and tension: Cupping effectively loosens hardened subcutaneous and muscle tissue and reaches tissue layers that are difficult to access with conventional massage techniques.
-
Facial treatments: Cupping also promotes blood circulation in the face and stimulates the regeneration of connective tissue, which can help improve skin elasticity.
Cupping procedure
Preparation for the treatment: Before treatment, a personal consultation with the doctor is conducted to discuss the concerns and treatment goals and to receive instructions for optimal preparation.
During the treatment: The duration of treatment depends on the number and size of the areas to be treated. Each area takes around 5–10 minutes. First, a gel or oil is applied so that the cupping glass can glide smoothly over the skin. Then, cupping glasses of various sizes are placed on the skin using negative pressure and moved around to massage the area.
After the treatment: To support the elimination of the stimulated metabolic products, it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids and exercise.
