Vaginal laser mode of action
The vaginal laser is a rod-shaped laser which is inserted into the vagina. This emits laser beams in a 360° radius. The targeted thermal heating of the vaginal tissue stimulates the growth and regeneration of collagen fibers and fine blood vessels. This regenerates the mucous membrane and leads to tightening of the vaginal walls. Furthermore, it improves the moisture and Vaginal flora is stabilized, which means that infections rarely occur. Vaginal laser procedure
Treatment in the intimate area is a matter of trust. Therefore, we discuss your specific complaints in detail during a personal consultation. The laser treatment should be preceded by an examination by a gynecologist including a pap smear. The PAP smear should not be more than 3 months old. The time of treatment should be outside the middle of the cycle.
The treatment itself takes only a few minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis. The rod-shaped laser is inserted into the vagina. Subsequently, if desired and at no additional cost, the outer and inner labia are treated with a fractional laser. Immediately after the treatment you can return to your normal activities.
Recommended are 1-4 treatments at an interval of at least 4 weeks. In many cases, improvement can be achieved after the first session. The expert letter recommends three sessions to achieve a sustainable result of 1-2 years. After that, the treatment can be refreshed with individual sessions.
