Eight out of ten people are affected by some form of acne in the course of their lives. Dealing with the disease can become a burden for many of those affected, both physically and above all emotionally.

Fortunately, a promising treatment has been available for several months that works without any medication.

With the so-called biophotonic therapy The area to be treated is smeared with a light-converting gel and covered with a LED lamp irradiated for around nine minutes. The gel splits the light into a variety of different wavelengths, which act on the skin and stimulate the skin's own repair system. This kills bacteria and builds up collagen.

In the following video you can see an example of biophoton therapy:

In our practice, this treatment has led to very satisfactory results, even in patients who have suffered a relapse after classic drug treatment with isotretinoin or who did not want to undergo drug treatment for other reasons.
