Kleresca (Biophotonic Therapy)

Kleresca is an innovative biophotonic light therapy for the treatment of various skin problems and stimulation of the building and repair mechanisms of the skin. It uses a unique light conversion system which, through multi-wavelength LED light combined with a special photoconverting gel, allows the light to act in the depth of the skin.

In this way, acne and rosacea can be effectively treated or skin rejuvenation can be achieved through collagen formation and skin cell renewal. The treatment can be used on the face but also on the neck and décolleté or for acne on the upper back.

How it works

Kleresca (Biophotonic Therapy) Mode of action

The effect of Kleresca is based on a combination of a special photo-conversion gel and multi-wavelength LED light. The photo-conversion gel is applied to the skin and then illuminated with specific wavelengths of an LED light.

In this process, the light energy is converted by the gel into dynamic, pulsating, fluorescent energy, which acts in the depth of the skin and initiates a variety of reactions. In science, this process is called photobiomodulation. Kleresca treatment uses 415 nm and 447 nm wavelengths:

  • The 415 nm wavelength has an antibacterial effect and kills acne bacteria.
  • The 447 nm wavelength has an anti-inflammatory effect, boosts the skin's own collagen production and has a preventive effect on acne scars.

Kleresca is a non-invasive, painless medical and aesthetic treatment, which can be performed throughout the year and shows good results.

Kleresca is a self-pay service. The amount is to be paid on the spot directly after the treatment.

Treatment options

Kleresca (Biophotonic Therapy) Treatment Options

Cleresca offers a total of three different treatment alternatives:

  • The Acne treatment is used for moderate to severe inflammatory acne and acne tarda. The photoconversion gel specially developed for acne is illuminated with wavelengths of 415 nm and 447 nm, which kills acne bacteria, stimulates the skin's self-healing powers and prevents the formation of acne cells. Acne scars be reduced.
  • The Rosacea treatment is used for moderate to severe Rosacea performed. The photo conversion gel developed for rosacea is illuminated with the wavelength 447 nm to reduce redness and inflammation.
  • The Rejuvenation treatment is used to stimulate the Skin rejuvenation performed. The special gel is illuminated with the monochromatic LED lamp (447 nm). The result is up to 400% increased collagen production, improved skin texture and reduction of pore size and fine wrinkles.
Procedure

Kleresca (Biophotonic Therapy) Procedure

It is best if the patient comes to the treatment without make-up, which lasts a total of 30 minutes. First, the treatment area is mildly cleaned. Then the appropriate photo conversion gel is applied in a thin layer. The gel is illuminated with the LED lamp and the appropriate wavelengths for nine minutes, which starts the effect of the treatment. At the end of the time, the gel is removed, the skin is cleansed and a moisturizing cream is applied.

The recommended frequency of therapy differs according to the treatment approach. First results can be seen already after the first treatment.

Cleresca acne / 2 treatments per week for 6 weeks

Cleresca Rosacea / 1 treatment per week for 4 weeks

Cleresca Rejuvenation / 1 treatment per month, can also be used as an annual program for repeated stimulation.

Frequently asked questions

Kleresca (biophotonic therapy) Frequently asked questions

Is the treatment painful?

Biophotonic therapy is basically painless. Some patients feel a slight burning sensation - especially if the skin is severely inflamed.

How long does it take until I see results?

In the case of rosacea, patients often notice an improvement in the inflammation after just 1-2 treatments; in the case of acne, 3-4 sessions are required.

Are the results permanent or will I have to undergo further treatments in the future?

Of course, this depends on the course of the disease. Rosacea usually flares up again every few years. The treatment can then be repeated. However, we often observe a sustained recovery of the tissue.

Will I need time off work?

After the treatment, the face is reddened and often "tanned", like after a solarium, although no UV light comes from the treatment lamp. In the vast majority of cases, the skin normalizes overnight.
